through 8000 series plus castings, irony, painted, poly
coated, thermal break and over-sized. Some typical items
include; extrusions, segregated alloys, mixed low copper
clips, siding, litho, UBC's, turnings, car and truck rims,
sow and ingot. Sources include post consumer collection
and new industrial production scrap.
Copper

of specialty consumers - within North America and abroad.
Copper-based materials bought & sold include cast or
wrought materials. Some typical items include; bare bright
copper wire, bus bar, #1 copper, #2 copper, light copper,
coated or plated copper and CDA alloys such as guilding
metal, cartridge brass, red brass, yellow brass, rod brass,
phosphor bronze, aluminum or manganese bronze, cupro-nickel,
nickel silver. Sources include post consumer collection
and new industrial production scrap.
Stainless
& Alloys:
The market for Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloys is an important
growth area for Triple M. Over the past few years, we have
made significant investments to expand and upgrade our processing
capabilities in this area. A key to processing Nickel, Titanium,
and Cobalt bearing scrap is in identification, analysis,
and commitment to quality.
MATALCO: Aluminum Remelt foundry
producing primary-quality aluminum extrusion billet from
scrap aluminum, press trimmings and primary ingot. The plant
has a name plate
capacity of 90,000 metric tonnes (200 million Lbs). MATALCO
is incorporating the most advanced remelting technology
and equipment in the world with industry-leading environmental
and energy-efficient processing resulting in virtually no
generated waste.
Aluminum has the same properties whether it is produced
from bauxite or through recycling. Aluminum is the most
recyclable product on earth it can be re-melted over and
over. Producing aluminum from scrap is the most environmentally
responsible form of production. 1 pound of recycled aluminum
is used in place of 8 pounds of bauxite, also saving four
pounds of chemicals and 6 kilowatt hours of electricity.
Sophisticated remelt technology uses 95% less energy than
aluminum production from bauxite.
